PICC Short – When Did You Last Wash?

When did you last Wash? As a Christian we believe in the Word of God pertaining to Christ cleansing us from our sins, but does the cleansing end there? Are we not to Wash daily? Having Clean Hands, Clean Eyes, Clean Mind, and Body.

One purpose of the Spirit is to renew our minds to serve God acceptably. We also read of “the washing of water by the Word.” Learning God’s Word, we are cleansed from wrong thinking and wrong ways so our service is acceptable to God. Do you bathe in the Word of God daily to be spiritually cleanse from the dirt of the world?

How often do we scrub those things that would pollute our Mind, Heart, and Soul? A daily concerted effort in washing off the things of the world shall result in a bright light exuding out of you. You will be in this world but not of it!

John 17:14-16

14 “I have given them Your Word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.”

About Rochelle

Born and raised in coastal Georgia, I had the distinct privilege of being raised in a home by 'CHURCH FOLK.' I was considered a PK; many of you know the term translates as 'Preacher's Kid.' My beginnings were, in appearance, as the life of luxury and prestige. See more of my story in the article: 'D.N.A. of a PK - Preacher's Kid'
