Helloooo! Good Works Will Not Produce Salvation
Many individuals are doing their best to be good and keep the Law of Moses… the Ten Commandments. While the commandments are good to know and have in our lives, believers, unbelievers, and carnal Christians cannot rely on keeping the law for salvation. The commandments of God to the Israelites were to convince mankind that they were sinful and not living up to God’s standard. It is a mirror.
To use a line from The Hope Project‘s article, The Law – God’s Mirror, “A Mirror can reveal a dirty face but can’t clean the face.”

It is very important for those seeking truth to know that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. For it is His righteousness that gives us right standing with God. What Jesus did on the cross satisfied God, the Father. That very sacrifice made peace with God for every man, woman, boy, and girl. It is only up to us to accept that Free Gift from God’s Grace. That is done only through Faith.
This is how we have been made righteous and as a result, been given access to our Heavenly Father. His Story has always been about reconciling man back to Himself. He did it! We have access to our Father’s throne.
God accepts us and hears our petitions as a result of our having access. Hebrews 4:16, NASB: “Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
I John 5:14-15 “And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.”
We Have Access!
It is incumbent upon us to find opportunities to Serve Christ by Serving Others. With much prayer and outreach, we can bring healing to the hurting, rest for the weary, bring encouragement to the fearful and salvation to many sin-sick souls. This is in step with our PHASE V Campaign for 2020: PHASE V – Let’s Strive to Serve Christ by Serving Others!
