Ebonee Heath – Little Dresses

V.I.P.  Membership # 26

“I’m so glad that I won to be able to help out
with clothing for those little girls in Africa .
I looked at their website and I’m happy to see
What I am supporting. It feels good to help.”

Little Dresses for Africais a Christian 501(c)3 providing humanitarian relief to the most vulnerable of God’s children: little girls. These dresses go as little ambassadors to plant in the hearts of little girls that they are worthy. As relationships are built, projects are completed through clean water, education and community.  “We’re not just sending dresses, we’re sending hope.”

Little Dresses for Africa distributes little dresses made of pillowcases or fabric throughout many parts of Africa, to plant in the hearts of little girls that they are worthy.   The purpose of the ministry is to send hope to the most vulnerable of God’s children: little girls.  To date, LDFA has delivered MILLIONS  of little dresses (and also britches for boys)  to 84 countries, 47 countries of which are  in Africa and 37 other countries in need such as  The Dominican, Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, and many more.  They are distributed through short term trips, in 40ft containers, as well as partnering with other ministries offering relief.  Projects are established through clean water, education and community to teach, encourage and deliver tangible hope. Little Dresses for Africa, led by Rachel, also conducts short term mission trips at least once a year to serve the communities as they distribute the little dresses.
Our local group of sewing volunteers make dresses from pillowcases and donated fabric. We supply local mission teams who are going to an orphanage or community to serve. We send the dresses to Rachel in Michigan when we are not supplying locally.  We accept donations of fabric, pillowcaes, ribbon, thread, and embellishments i.e. rick rack, lace etc.

Thanks to Ebonee Heath for choosing LDFA as her charity. We appreciate her thoughtfulness and compassion for the little girls in other countries.”

If you were one of the supporters of this effort, I want to take this time to express my sincere appreciation for making this a great success! We are finishing the year strong in our objectives. Our PHASE IV – Growing the Distance did exactly that… thanks to donors like you and the many prayers that went before us. Please continue to pray for PICC, Inc. We hope to continue to grow the distance in 2020… to do more and reach more with the love of God, being A Beacon of Hope to Inspire, Encourage, Inform, and Engage people in acts of kindness across this nation. Consider donating. Any amount is appreciated. This is Good Soil!
