Past the Pain

With love to my Lord Jesus

Past the Pain

When your heart is truly broken,

When you can’t see past the pain,

When the rain is thick and heavy,

And the thunder rolls again,

Remember….

There was a man who’s heart was broken,

In a garden feeling pain,

And His heart was feeling heavy,

As the evil fought for gain.

So He bowed His head and questioned,

Father, must I walk this road?

And His Father answered Yes, my son,

It’s the only way to go.

And in blind trust He spread His hands

And walked the road and bled

For in that day evil lost,

Now God’s love reigns here instead.

About Rochelle

I am a native of Savannah GA. Raised in a 'religious' home... let's call me a P.K. (Preacher's Kid). Went to Church 3-4 times a week. Even so, I never saw Christ in the home. That's sad. I am also the founder and CEO of PICC, Inc. and SCHP (2 blogs representing the non-profits). Take a moment and browse through our content. I believe you will be encouraged and inspired by our columnists and contributors. By all means, visit my story (parts I, II, and III) at https://smallchange-hugeprofits.com/d-n-a-of-a-p-k-my-story/
