PICC-A-Valentine 2020

  Happy New Year!

The PICC team hope you’ve had a marvelous holiday season, celebrating the birth of Christ, the Jewish celebration of Hanuka, along with the turn of a new year & new decade. Let’s keep the momentum going all year! We can do it.

The spirit of the season renders people more thoughtful, thankful and kind. Boy oh boy, can we use more of this! I don’t know about you, but I encountered more greetings and smiles throughout the days and weeks leading up to the New Year. Wouldn’t it be nice to carry it throughout the year? The Love of God in our hearts can flow to everyone we meet. Let’s remember that.

Here at PICC, we are going into our fifth year; our slogan for PHASE V is  “Let’s Strive! Making Every Effort to Serve Christ by Serving Others” Thankful that PHASE IV – Growing the Distance finished strong; we look forward to doing more this year. We are launching our first project of 2020 to help the homeless by designing and filling 40-50 Valentine’s Day love packets for the Jesus Place Mission in Atlanta. (visit the the website) http://jesusplace.com/

These items will meet their basic needs. See below:

The packets will also include a red rolled face cloth with a white bow-tied ribbon (or a white rolled face cloth with a red bow-tied ribbon) and this warm Valentine’s Day message about our Lord’s Gift of Love. His Life.

Can you visualize this packet? What a great way for PICC to start the Year 2020. Come, join us in this effort by giving whatever you can afford to give to make it happen. No amount is too small. All donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please give by February 3rd. This will help us to have packets prepared and ready to be distributed on February 9th.

Follow the donate button to the site. And as always, we will keep you informed of the outcome.
