Servant of the Most High God
HOLDING ON
In all of His humanity
Christ hung upon that cross,
He died our death, and bore our shame,
To save us from great loss.
So why do we hold on to things
That died with Him that day?
He suffered then and suffers now
when we refuse His Grace,
And why do we refuse His help
and shun the love He offers?
Why do we hold tight to things
continuing to suffer?
Perhaps this is the mystery,
one day He will make clear.
Until that day hold on dear ones,
His Return is ALWAYS near!
