Season of Hope – The Resurrection

For certain, many in Christendom are scurrying about to prepare for this Easter celebration; trying to bring some sense of normalcy to life for the young children. With all that is going on with the coronavirus, leaders are taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe without minimizing the fun. Easter Sunday for many has always been a very special time of the year for both the young and the old. (and everyone in between).

This season we are entering is one of Renewed Hope and Blessing. The Lord has walked with us through trials and sufferings over recent months. We were filled with the sorrow of heart as we witnessed sickness and death all around us; even in our own circle of friends and family. As we prepare our hearts to celebrate this Easter, let us be reminded of the reason for this celebration. It is about Our Blessed Hope… the Risen Savior. This one moment in time changed the course for all creation. Jesus is still changing the lives of all who look to Him and believe He is their Redeemer, Friend, and Blessed Hope.

If you are struggling with the facing of each new day because of sickness, sorrows, loss, disappointments, and dismay, take heart. Let this Easter 2021 be not just a day on the calendar, but let it remind you of God’s goodness and faithfulness. He has provided us a Living Hope in Christ… a Savior… a Very Present Help in the times of trouble.

God is with you. He is constant. If you feel lonely or alone, call up a friend or family member. Don’t do life alone. The Body of Christ is available to all for fellowship, comfort, and prayers. The Lord continually reminds us of His nearness to us in times of trouble and heartache. Psalm 46:1. He longs for that nearness of His beloved.

Draw near unto God and He will draw near to you. Because of the work of Christ, we can come close. Ephesians 2:13 God has already made a way for us to meet Him now and be with Him for Eternity. Take advantage of this great privilege today. This Season of Hope… Renewed.

About Rochelle

I am a native of Savannah GA. Raised in a 'religious' home... let's call me a P.K. (Preacher's Kid). Went to Church 3-4 times a week. Even so, I never saw Christ in the home. That's sad. I am also the founder and CEO of PICC, Inc. and SCHP (2 blogs representing the non-profits). Take a moment and browse through our content. I believe you will be encouraged and inspired by our columnists and contributors. By all means, visit my story (parts I, II, and III) at https://smallchange-hugeprofits.com/d-n-a-of-a-p-k-my-story/
