The Stone is Rolled Away!

MJ Johnson ∼ In His Service

Just as Jesus had a stone in place in Death for 3 days, so do we, in life. Our stones are as heavy and solid and unmovable as the stone closing the tomb of Jesus. Things like relationships, finances, personal loss, death, disease, and the mundane, but very real, worries of this life. These are the stones that keep us from entering the resurrected life. How do we find triumph in these challenges then? We do it in the same way Jesus did it! We RISE in Him! We LOOK and see that the stone HAS BEEN MOVED FOR US!

“Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they went to the tomb at sunrise. They were saying to one another, ‘ Who will roll away the stone from the entrance to the tomb for us?’ Looking up they noticed that the stone — which was very large — had been rolled away.” Mark 16:2-4

When life’s trials and challenges begin to press upon us,
let us be reminded that Jesus will roll away the stones.
He promises to carry our burdens. For He cares for us.
I Peter 5:7
