In His Service – MJ Johnson

When life is uncertain and obstacles form,

When deep in my soul I stand facing the storm,

I call out Your name as I lean from its’ force –

And try in my strength to straighten my course

When life presses in and I march to life’s beat

I enter to the throne room and fall at His feet

Aware of my struggles and reaching toward Him

I rest in His presence as worries grow dim

Oh day full of woes with mountains before us

Take my heart make it Yours in Heavenly chorus

Pour balm on my wounds and clean every thought

For victory is promised when You we have sought!

It’s here that You meet me surrounded by strength,

No storm can escape how wide and how deep,

As Your love then caresses my struggling heart –

With sweet wind of deliverance my soul to impart.
